The nature of watercolour with its unforgiving fluidity requires a patience and sensitivity of hand. The subject matter in these works reflects the mood in which they were created.
A limited palate of fleshy hues and subdued tones characteristic of my work exude on paper into loving portraits. 
Soft figurative sculptures, often fragmented, find form in discarded mattresses and couch foam. Their surfaces generate a kind of static.
