Luke Rion

Artist Statement

Luke Rion’s practice explores the duality of using environment to describe character and the character to suggest environment. For Rion’s latest Exhibition ’Osmosis’ the work explores the concept of a heavy vicious membrane of feeling that seems impossible to push through. A permeable surface that slows time and shifts perception. A thick gelatinous unexplainable feeling that can only be described, maybe days or years after the internalised event.
